Mount10 and StorageTek work together to store data in compliance with legal requirements

Data protection specialist Mount10 and experts for storage services and solutions StorageTek have joined forces to address the growing market of long-term digital data storage. HiFreezer™, the software solution from Mount10 for long-term data storage in compliance with legal requirements, is installed on StorageTek hardware.

Combining StorageTek storage solutions with HiFreezer™ software provides companies with an integrated solution for storing and archiving data in compliance with legal regulations. This enables organisations to store data cost-effectively in compliance with regulations set by the German Federal Ministry of Finance (Bundesministeriums für Finanzen) on data access and the verifiability of digital documents (GDPdU) and the principles of accurate data processing supported accounting systems (GoBS).

StorageTek tested HiFreezer™ on its tape and disk solutions. All requirements were met and StorageTek storage solutions work effectively with HiFreezer™ software.

HiFreezer™ is a software solution for the efficient and cost-effective log-term storage of data in compliance with legal requirements. Companies can use this software to centrally control all storage processes as well as separate and manage databases from different sources.
